Admit it: when you think DadWagon, the first word that comes to mind is classy. That’s right–DadWagon, cultural arbiters, style-masters, and perverts (with plenty of good old-fashioned crazy).
We are a pretty refined group, and in that light, I’d like to share the artwork of a good friend of mine, Peter Staley. I’m not going to try very hard to articulate the meaning of Peter’s kid-friendly work, other than to say that he is his own context of no context.
Basically, I just enjoy these–they’re fantastical, cute with a little bit of sinister, associative without being tied to a narrative. I hope you like them, too.
These are all great. Can I get the Cloud Island on a t-shirt?
Jason–I don’t know, but I’ve forwarded your request to Peter.
I’ll second that request. And a print of the cloud aninmals, too. I glanced (kid is teething, so I can only surf in fits and starts) through Peter’s site, and there are lots of neat illustrations there.
